Interface between Sage 100 and EVENTIM Sports
The interface between Sage 100 and EVENTIM Sports creates added value for the club, added value for the employees, added value for the fans. It was programmed by datatronic Software AG. The THW Kiel, Germany’s most successful handball club, is counting on it and is recording enormous savings in working time.
The recipe for success: Digitizing manual business processes
The interface programmed by datatronic between the Sage 100 ERP system and EVENTIM Sports ticketing saves THW Kiel up to one hour on average every day. “No wonder,” says Pascal Bühler, CEO of datatronic AG, and explains: “The data exchange between the ERP system and the ticketing now runs fully automatically, eliminating the need for manual data entry in reporting. After a match, for example, there is no longer any need for time-consuming extraction of all sales figures from EVENTIM.Tixx and importing them into the ERP system. The booking is also done automatically.”
Each customer has a central customer number, new customers are automatically created from EVENTIM in the legend 100. Thereby, the system checks for duplicates. “Of course, all address changes are also made automatically,” explains Bühler. If a customer has several accounts, they are merged into one customer account in Sage 100.
Seamless interface integration – more time for sport
The pandemic is still slowing down full arenas, but when the game starts up again, it pays off for clubs to have optimized and digitized manual business processes. The time saved not only benefits employees during peak periods, but also helps them to devote more time to their actual sports activities. Those who can offer tickets to their sporting events online also become more interesting for younger buyers.
“Not to be forgotten,” notes Bühler: “The Sage 100 ERP system, which meets the requirements of small and medium-sized companies in particular, also offers the best possibilities in reporting thanks to its seamless interface integration. Well-structured data is available at all times, which can serve as a basis for the stakeholders to make decisions.
