NTR acquires Rocon Business Solutions

NTR Beteiligungs-GmbH, a holding company with 10 subsidiaries in the business software and technical software sector, acquires rocon business solutions GmbH (BS), based in Rotenburg near Bremen. The specialist for Sage ERP and HR solutions in Northern Germany becomes part of Datatronic Software AG, based in Worms. With this acquisition, the NTR Group becomes the largest Sage HR reseller in D-A-CH.

Rocon Business Solutions – HR and ERP specialist in Northern Germany

With over 40 employees, Rocon BS serves its customers from its headquarters in Rotenburg, near Bremen, as well as from its branch offices in Oldenburg, Leipzig, Saarbrücken, Dessau, Glaubitz and Plauen. With this acquisition, the NTR Group strengthens its HR activities, especially in Northern Germany. Nationwide, the two NTR subsidiaries DPS Business Solutions and Datatronic have a total of 20 branches.

Great customer benefits from the merger

Rocon Business Solutions is to be merged with Datatronic Software AG before the end of the first half of the year. Steffen Rost, the previous owner, will thus leave his position as Managing Director of rocon BS at the end of June to concentrate on the remaining companies in his Rocon Group.

The portfolios of the two companies rocon BS and Datatronic complement each other perfectly. Datatronic, previously focused on ERP, DMS and IT services, will continue the added Rocon HR business as a separate division. This will enable Datatronic to offer the full Sage product range.

Pascal Bühler, CEO of Datatronic Software AG, sees the acquisition as a major gain for Datatronic Software AG, but above all for its customers: “The ERP team in the north will be further expanded as a result of the merger, so that the steadily growing number of Datatronic customers in northern Germany can be serviced locally. In addition, customers nationwide can benefit from our HR portfolio and related services. With the acquisition, we complete our product portfolio and can offer our small and medium-sized customers complete support for ERP, HR, DMS, IT and logistics from a single source.”

The merger will provide Datatronic customers with more than 125 specialists at a total of 11 locations (Worms, Dessau, Glaubitz, Hanover, Frankfurt, Leipzig, Parsberg/Nuremberg, Plauen, Oldenburg, Rotenburg and Saarbrücken).

The management team and existing employees will be seamlessly integrated into Datatronic’s organizational structures and will be available to customers as usual.
